This course is thoughtfully designed for those starting from zero, but dreaming of one day becoming a nail artist.

Whether you hope to open your own cosy home studio, build a new career in beauty, or simply want to do things the right way from the beginning—this is a supportive and structured path made just for you.

We’ll start with the essentials, helping you build a strong foundation in technique, safety, and gel application. From there, you’ll gradually move into more advanced skills like structured gel manicures, Japanese pot gel application, and nail art.

Throughout the journey, you’ll be guided step-by-step, not just on how to do nails, but how to understand them—why each layer matters, how to protect the natural nail, and how to create work you’re proud of.

Most importantly, you're not doing it alone. We’ll be here to support you every step of the way—with hands-on training, real model sessions, and personalised feedback to help you grow. After graduating, you'll also have the opportunity to intern at a local salon, or feel confident enough to start taking your own clients.

Stage 1: Core Foundations & Essential Skills

Build confidence with safe techniques and a deep understanding of Japanese gel systems.

Introduction

• Two basic nail shapes: square & round
• Safe E-file manicure (trainer-guided)

Tools & Nail Health

• Brush and tool care
• Tool disinfection procedures
• Daily nail care guidance
• (New)IBX Treatment: professional system to strengthen and repair natural nails

Stage 2: Structure, Confidence & Career Readiness

Advance your techniques and gain experience with real models, art, and salon workflow.

Nail Anatomy & Health

• Learn the key parts of the natural nail — including the nail plate, nail bed, cuticle, matrix, and more. Understand what a healthy nail looks like and how to spot signs of damage or stress.

Common Nail Conditions (Non-medical)

• We’ll introduce a few common nail conditions you may come across, like onycholysis, fungal infections, white spots, and discoloration. While we don’t diagnose, this knowledge helps you work more safely and confidently.

Builder Gel & BIAB Skills

• Colour builder base for structured manicures
• Learn to work with two types of builder gel textures, structure gel from Nail Thoughts and BIAB
• Balance, apex, and strength-building techniques

Nail Repair Techniques

• Learn how to safely repair cracked or split nails using nail silk and Fixee Gel. This technique reinforces the natural nail without bulk, helping restore strength and appearance — perfect for minor breaks or peeling nails.

Real Practice & Salon Prep

• Two hands-on sessions with real models (with trainer guidance)
• Final hands-on assessment to simulate real salon conditions
• Customer consultation & communication skills
• Internship opportunity for qualified students

Nail Art Basics

• Learn 4 foundational nail art styles
  
  (Styles may include French, line work, dotting, and marble techniques — adjusted based on class needs)

Optional Add-on: Gel-X Style Extensions

• Select the right tip shape and size
• Apply full-coverage nail tip extensions using builder gel or soft gel
