New release of a super saver gel to repair your cracked & chipped nails!

It is created with firm nylon fibres to keep your nail intact with a stronger hold. This is not a base gel; however, a base gel is needed after the repair is cured.

Step-by-Step: Repair Broken Nail Area

1. Prep the Nail

  • Perform a manicure and buff the nail plate with a 100-grit sponge buffer.
Clean the surface with 90-100% alcohol.

2. Apply Fixee Gel

  • Use a silicone tool to pick up Fixee Gel and apply it directly to the broken area.
There is no need for Base Gel or Sticky Bond.
  • Apply the gel thicker (approximately 0.7-1mm) on the sidewalls and the broken area. Extend slightly beyond the break for better reinforcement.
  • Avoid covering the entire nail to keep the repair localized.

3. Shape and Smooth

  • Since Fixee Gel is non-runny, use tools to shape and smooth the gel while applying. This reduces the time for reshaping later.
Cure under a lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Refine the Shape

  • Gently file to refine the shape, maintaining thickness around the break to prevent lifting. (Tips: Avoid thinning this area too much.)

5. Final Steps

  • Clean the nail with alcohol and apply a base gel.
For added durability, use a high-hardness base gel like KOKOIST Filler Base to minimize the risk of bending or breaking.

Tips: Keep the sidewalls and broken area thicker to ensure a strong hold.

Step-by-Step: Nail Extension

1. Prep the Nail

  • Perform a manicure and buff the nail plate with a 100-grit sponge buffer.
  • Clean the nail surface with 90-100% alcohol.

2. Apply Paper Form and Base Gel

  • Attach the paper form securely to the nail.
  • Apply base gel to the nail for better adhesion.
  • Fully cure under a lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Reshape

  • After curing, wipe the surface with alcohol to remove any tacky layer.
  • Reshape the nail, ensuring the connection points are thicker for firm support.

5. Build the Structure

  • Apply a layer of KOKOIST Filler Base to create the desired structure.
  • Fully cure again to set the foundation for the extension.

Tips: Keep the connection points thicker to ensure durability and prevent lifting.

What is Japanese Gel?

Japanese gel, originating in Japan and gaining global popularity, is renowned for its high quality and unique texture.

Unlike typical gel polish, it offers a variety of textures, hardness levels, and viscosities to choose from. This is not meant to confuse but to create long-lasting gel results for different needs.

Japanese colour gels usually come in cute little pots and can be used for single-colour applications and nail art, as they are highly pigmented. Japanese gel nail products use cosmetic-grade pigments.
